You thought that the title would be about Christmas didn't you? 😉...Anyways, it got really cold this week!! We had Zone Conference on Wednesday but our Mission President had it over zoom due to the temperatures and the fact that it snowed from Tuesday morning straight through Thursday evening. Our Zone Conference was really good and we talked about social vs. spiritual conversion. On Thursday Salt Lake actually called and shut down all driving in the mission because of how cold it was ( -20°F). So because we had an appointment at the stake center (which was a 15 minute walk) and because we couldn't drive, we walked. It was a really cold walk to say the least!  The next day we had an exchange and I returned to Clinton, which was pretty weird. We had district council on Saturday and then Sunday was Christmas! That was pretty fun! Here are some food pictures again! Yes, That's a pickle on a Reese's! Love, Elder Krebs

Now according to the commandment of the Mission President we did go down to the building where those who are afflicted without homes do dwell.

Hey guys! This week has been pretty fun. On Monday we had breakfast at President Anderson's house, one of the ones in the mission presidency. We went to Walmart and acquired a Christmas tree. On Tuesday we had exchanges and half way through we got news that President Anderson would be conducting interviews over district council the next day so we decided to switch back early as to not be attending without suits.  Wednesday was district council and we toured the Poverello center afterward which is one of the homeless shelters in Missoula. We were asked by the mission presidency to volunteer there Tuesday-Saturday over the next few weeks to get the missionaries out there serving. It was super cool, there were deer just chilling outside of our apartment.  Saturday was our turn to volunteer so we went and served food for a bit. On our way back from dinner that day we felt prompted to go into a gas station and give the cashier a Book of Mormon. It was an amazing experience, wh...

Hey y'all!  It has been a fun week. Let me tell ya all about it.  On Monday we just kinda hung out.  On Wednesday we went and got Cracker Barrel before transfers.  Then I picked up my new companion Elder Clark. He's a really nice guy and we already get along really well. We went and got everything correlated as far as vehicles go. (Last week we had the car accident and we were still trying to get coordinated with our cars from that.) We then went shopping for groceries so Elder Clark could get some essentials. On Saturday was our ward breakfast catered by Wheat Montana a nd it was so good!  We also got Chick-fil-A with the ZLs. (Elder Clark is the one in the brown coat.)   Well, now that I'm recapping everything, it sounds like we did a lot of eating out but we did do some missionary stuff too. Have a great one!  Love, Elder Krebs

Now there was a woman who did lose control of her vehicle and did smite our car with her car

Hey y'all,  This week has been kinda crazy. On Monday we went bowling and went to Taco Bell.  On Tuesday the temperature dropped dramatically. I kept my Dr. Pepper outside so I could have cold drinks without taking up space in the fridge. So I had a Dr. Pepper slush.  Then on Wednesday we had homemade pizzas with district council (the dough was made by yours truly).  Then on Thursday we were hit by a car. We had to stick around for about an hour and a half waiting for highway patrol to show up so we could have a good exchange of info. Thing is, I had food cooking in the crock pot, now I learned that food CAN burn in the crock pot.  So Friday through Sunday we have been waiting for a replacement vehicle to come on up. Anyways it has been a fun week.  Love, Elder Krebs
