Now we did find 4 new people to teach!

Image
Hey Y'all!,  We had a few really cool experiences this week! We were able to find 3 new people on Wednesday when we were going through area book and texting those previously taught. We had an absolutely fire lesson. Their first language is Swahili, so we're going to have other Swahili speaking missionaries zoom teach with us from now on so we make sure that everything is being understood correctly.  Thanksgiving was more of a lazy day because on Monday, we were asked to not make any new appointments for Thanksgiving. We only had the dinner set up at this point so we took a nap or two and called family. (My companion, Elder Christensen, is the one on the far left.)  Skipping Friday and going to Saturday, the two districts in Missoula were asked to clean the stake center because the ward in charge of it had almost no one who could come because of the holiday.  We were looking through area book again and found another guy that wanted to learn more about the gospel!!...

Now we did have Café Rio 3 times in the same week!

Hey Y'all, We had a pretty fun week. We did a lot if contacting. On P-day we went to the church and played a version of dodge ball that was 1 vs 1 and for lunch we went to the new Chick-fil-A!!  On Tuesday we had a member take us to Café Rio for dinner! On Wednesday we had district council. Thursday we had an exchange in which we contacted quite a few people and we had a member take us to Café Rio for dinner. Friday we did a lot of contacting and had a member take us to Café Rio for dinner again! 😋  Saturday we were on another exchange where we were able to actually get a lot of return appointments scheduled while contacting. Which is surprising because the Cat vs. Griz game was going on. (An in-state rivalry game!)  Anyway I hope you guys have an awesome week. Love, Elder Krebs Here's a beautiful Montana sunset for you!

Now winter did strike the land of Missoula insomuch that we were asked to stay within our apartments for the space of 2 days.

OK so there was a boatload of snow that was dumped here. Last Monday we were sent home at 3 and directed to stay in unless we had a lesson or dinner. Then on Tuesday it was somewhat lifted to the point where we were allowed to go out as long as the companion with more experience driving in the snow was the driver. We had district council on Wednesday where we had lunch together and due to multiple crashes (not involving mission vehicles) happening all around the mission, we were put on the same "stay at home orders" as before.  On Thursday we went on an exchange and that was really fun. It was nice to get out and away from the house a little bit. We were shoveling a lot and visited some less active members.  We exchanged back on Friday which was the day that the Chick-fil-A opened up in Missoula! We tried to go but the line was out of the parking lot so we decided not to go there that night. Saturday was kind of a normal day. Same with Sunday. Anyways it has been a fun week. ...

Now snow did return to the land of Missoula.

Last week I was transferred back to Missoula!! It's cool to be back where I started from, kind of. It's the same town but a different ward. My new companion's name is Elder Christensen and he's a district leader. This week we had zone conference on Wednesday, and that was pretty fun.  We knocked a lot of less active members doors. We didn't get a lot of lessons out of it though. As you can tell from the title snow came to Missoula. Not as bad as Bozeman 2 weeks ago with trees falling down but still pretty good.  Also, I got to play some solitaire after 9:00 pm, so that was fun. Anyways hope you have a good week! Love, Elder Krebs

Hey y'all, It has been a pretty average week. On Monday we mainly packed. On Tuesday we had a lesson with a dude we are teaching. On Wednesday we were transferred. I boarded the the transfer bus to Missoula. Thursday and Friday I met my new companion and settled in but nothing too big happened. On Saturday was stake conference as well as Sunday. It was cool to see a bunch of the old members from my other Missoula area!  And that's pretty much my week.  Love, Elder Krebs
