Now we did have our apartment inspected for all manner of damages

Image
Hey guys! Monday- We went bowling with the district! Tuesday- We had an apartment inspection which is where they go around your apartment and make sure everything is in good shape, there are no holes in the wall. Stuff like that. We passed! Wednesday- We had interviews with the President's councilor.  We then started an exchange. During that we had two lessons, and did a little street contacting.  Here's a pretty sunset from our time doing contacting. Thursday- We had district council and a whole lot of people canceled on us which was kind of a bummer.  Friday- We did a lot of contacting in the rain. We had dinner with the funniest members out there! We were laughing the whole time we were there.  Saturday- We volunteered for an Easter egg hunt that was slightly delayed by the snow. After that we tried to visit some referrals. We also got some panda express. We tried to go through the drive thru but they only allowed one order at a time so we went through twice and ...

Now we did receive 1 and a half feet of snow in the time of one day!

Hey guys! Here is what happened in the week. Monday- P-day! Tuesday-  It snowed Monday night through Tuesday really bad so we were told to stay in our apartments.  Wednesday- Plowing the roads was slow going so, same story as Tuesday. (Even missionaries get snow days sometimes!)  Thursday- We had District Council and went to Buffalo Wild Wings! Yumm! Friday- We did quite a bit of finding through various ways after quite a few cancellations of lessons. Saturday- We actually had a lesson! It was really productive. We had to let other missionaries teach her though because she doesn't live in our area.  Sunday- Easter Sunday! We went to church. We came home and called our families. Then we went to a member's house for dinner and afterwards they gave us Easter baskets. That really meant so much to us!  I look forward to this coming week. (Hopefully more appointments!) Have a great one! Love, Elder Krebs

Now at this time we did exchanges with the leaders of the zone

Hey Everyone!  Monday- P-day we did an escape room to party as a new district! It was really fun! Tuesday- We did quite a bit of contacting and then we had a really powerful lesson with a less active member. I love feeling the spirit! Wednesday- We had Zone Council and then had an exchange with the Zone Leaders and they are over the YSA ward so we were able to go to institute. It was fun! Thursday- We also did a lot of contacting this day. But we were able to have a lesson with a family we are teaching that evening which was pretty nice.  Friday- We had a lesson with a man we are teaching and we were able to clear up a few concerns.  Saturday- we had a zone breakfast after the stake mission leaders invited us over for breakfast so we could report on our activities within the Zone. Sunday- We are only in one ward compared to two wards in my last area so it's cool to have a more centered focus. We attended all the meetings we needed to attend, did a lot of contacting and th...

Now I did rejoice with my brethren and sisters in the place of Missoula being able to receive a temple in their city, even though I am not among them at this time.

Hey guys! I have had a crazy week full of transfers, general conference and the like. Tuesday- We went to District council and we mainly signed transfer journals. I was able to say goodbye to a lot of people and packed. I did not realize how scattered my possessions became over the course of 6 months. Wednesday- saying goodbye to my companion and the rest of my district. Then going on a 6 hour bus ride down to Billings, MT. It was a pretty long ride.  Thursday- We had a district council with my new district and we did a whole lot of finding. And I got to know my new companion a little. Friday- Again, I did a whole lot of finding and had a member dinner. Saturday-Sunday- General Conference!! A temple was announced in Missoula!!!!! I cannot tell you how loud I wanted to scream for joy when they announced it but I didn't think the members whose baby was asleep in the next room would have appreciated it.  Well it has been quite a week. Love you all!  Elder Krebs

Now it has been commanded of me that I must leave the land of Clinton, Montana.

Hi Everyone,  Well this was a bit of a long week. We had a few lessons cancel on us this week which led to extremely long finding sessions.  Tuesday- We did a weekly planning session and then a lot of street contacting and Facebook finding. We then had dinner and a member lesson. Wednesday and Thursday- District Council and finding. Also on Thursday the area truck got switched out from a Tacoma to a Frontier. It's really nice! Friday- We had a 2 and 1/2  hour street contacting where I almost got hit by a semi! The road we were walking on, all of a sudden didn't have a sidewalk. It's usually not a road that's very busy so I didn't think it was that big of a deal. All of a sudden a semi zoomed passed about a foot away from me! It was really scary.  That same walk we saw a dead raccoon. I guess it wasn't as lucky as I was with the semi. While we were visiting people we met Bronco Mendenhall's mother in law! Saturday- We attended a baptism of one of the kids in ...
