Zach Krebs - Montana Billings Mission

As you can tell by the title this week was fairly uneventful. But let's get into it!  Monday- P-day!! So we mainly cleaned the apartment and played games with the district.  Tuesday- We did weekly planning, and we set off a scent bomb thing in our car to get rid of the lingering smells. We then just tried to contact people.  Wednesday- We did district council. And then went out to lunch together. Then we got a text from another companionship in our zone that they accidentally double booked themselves with service and a lesson so we helped out with that. Thursday- Our Ward mission leader took us out to lunch to do a mini missionary coordination meeting. (By the way, missionaries love this! If you haven't done this recently, you should take your missionaries out to lunch sometime.) Friday- We went through the lists and transferred them all over to our area book app. Then we picked up a drill from a member for a service project the next day.  Saturday- We woke up at 5 a...

Hey Guys! So I got transferred over to Bozeman. It's been a busy week! Monday- P-Day/packing Tuesday- Said my goodbyes and then, more packing. We went up to Great Falls to spend the night so we didn't have to wake up mega early on Wednesday. On the way up we got a pretty big rock chip in our windshield.  Wednesday- Officially transferred. The transfer day itself wasn't too fun. We went down to Helena (stopped at this cool scenic pull off) . The east bound bus showed up at 11 am then we had to wait until 4 pm for the bus going westbound to get back to Helena. Rolled into Bozeman at 6 pm. Found out for sure that we are doubling in. ("Doubling in" means that both old elders got transferred and myself and my new companion are both new. Used to be called "white washing" but it's not a term that is used anymore.) Hey y'all! We had a pretty cool week this week. I got transfer news but you'll have to wait until the end of the letter to find out what it is! Monday- The Shelby elders came down for P-Day. We played a few board games. It was really fun! Tuesday- We did a few lessons. Then we did an hour of service and tried to contact people.  Wednesday- We went up to Brady to do list contacting. On our way back we saw smoke coming up from a field. We technically did have a half hour of street contacting but we decided to check out the fire instead. We got closer and saw that there was a huge fire and 30-40 mph winds didn't help. The fire went 8 miles in a straight line jumping I-15. One of our members in the volunteer fire department said he was in his truck trying to get ahead of it to dig a ditch and cut it off but his truck couldn't even keep up with how fast it was spreading. So naturally all the stuff for the rest of the day canceled on us as they were trying to fight the fire. ...

Hey Guys we had a really awesome week let me tell you about it.  Monday- We didn't do much on P-Day. We hung out and we were able to wash our car. Tuesday- We helped someone move and unfortunately had a lesson fall through.  Wednesday- We had a district council which was pretty fun. We went to Café Río afterwards. We then came back to Conrad and did some studying. We contacted the ward lists of people who may be less active. We then went to the most fire member lesson I've ever been in!! The insights were great. We then went to Elsa's and Casey's and had an awesome lesson there as well. Thursday- We left our apartment at 8:00 am to get our car fixed because we had a screw in our tire. Before now we couldn't get to Great Falls to fix it because we didn't have the miles to do so but as it was September 1st we could go out now. We then went to Choteau and did some finding. Then we went and got dinner (I got a Buffalo burger) and we went to Dutton to have a lesson. ...
