Zach Krebs - Montana Billings Mission

hey y'all! I am staying in Great Falls!! So that means that I have had the same companion 2 transfers in a row which hasn't happened since August last year. Luckily we really get along well so that is pretty fun.  We did quite a bit of contacting, and had a few appointments set up but unfortunately a lot of people cancelled on us. We call it poor weather friends. People are happy to have a visit in the winter when there's not much to do and they feel closed off but as the first week of summer is approaching they decide they really don't want to visit with us.  We got some local honey so  that is going to be cool. The members tell us that local raw honey provides antibodies from local bacteria. So hopefully that works out.  I took a new profile picture. And I ate some pickles on Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.  Well this week has been pretty cool, hope you have a great one! Love, Elder Krebs

Hey y'all! What's up?  This week was pretty cool. To start, on Monday after P-day was over and after a lesson, we made fudge for district council on Wednesday! But the next day we found out a member of the mission presidency was doing interviews on Friday and wanted us to have a combined district council that day with the other district instead of on Wednesday. The thing is, the fudge would have gotten crusty by then. So we decided to eat/give out the fudge we already had and then re-make some for District Council.  On Wednesday we had two absolutely fire lessons!  On Thursday we just kinda did work.  On Friday we had district council where we ate fudge and got some KFC afterward.  Saturday we had an early morning lesson and then went yard sale contacting but didn't find anyone to teach so we went back to the normal ways of finding. Hey y'all!  This week has been pretty fun! Let me tell you about it! Unfortunately quite a few of our lessons were cancelled but that is alright!  On Thursday we had a lesson set up but they weren't there. The person we were supposed to be visiting has dogs. They were dogs trained to be in the military so they are pretty fierce. They usually have them inside when we come over but because they weren't there (unbeknownst to us) the dogs were outside hiding under the porch. We were going to just come in the gate but miraculously we  couldn't get the gate open. A few seconds later the dogs came out from under the porch barking and in total attack mode. It was a miracle that the gate got stuck so we couldn't get in, so God definitely protected us there.  Another thing that was a miracle was that because the appointment fell through we were able to go to an older member's home. She lives alone and she was nearby so we decided to check in on her.  She had fal...

Hey y'all! How are you doing? My week has been a pretty good one.  On Monday we mainly just hung around with other missionaries and did p-day stuff.  On Wednesday we zoomed into the Missoula zone conference because we had a general seventy visiting our mission and he wanted everyone to zoom into each place he visited. Then we had Dairy Queen afterward because a member owns that particular franchise and allows the missionaries to get one free meal per missionary per week! (Super nice of him!)  On Thursday we went down to Helena to zone conference and it went a little over and we had a lesson scheduled on the way back but we didn't have enough time to do the lesson and drop the other Elders off before so they joined us for the lesson. Hey y'all! On Monday we played some laser tag and that was really fun. I got one of the newer suits so I could shoot faster than a lot of people. On Wednesday We had district council and  that was really fun because this district council is actually a discussion instead of one person just talking. We then did quite a bit of contacting and joined the youth in the cascade branch. We thought we would be doing painting as the activity but it got swapped for yoga at the last minute and doing yoga in Proselytizing clothes is an interesting experience. Friday we got in contact with a person who we have been trying to get into contact with for forever and we finally did!  Saturday we saw a sign for a yard sale in our area and we figured why the heck not? Maybe we could talk to her about the gospel, so we stopped by. They were selling a typewriter for $10 so I got it. It looked a little banged up. but my comp had a major headache that night ...
