Now we did have snow, fallen trees, and murder in the land of Bozeman!

Hey there!  As you can tell from the title we had a pretty crazy week!  So to start with the first eventful thing. We went to pick up some dinner from a member and figured since we were out we might as well stop by some members that were a little less active and share a short scripture. One of the people we visited we had visited her a couple of times before and we had a short visit on her front porch. We thought it had gone okay, but we found out in the news that one hour after our visit with her she murdered her husband and later killed herself. So that was pretty crazy and a little freaky.  Life continued as normal until Saturday night. It started snowing towards the end of the evening. So we picked up some freeze resistant window wiper fluid so the windshield wouldn't freeze on us. Sunday morning we were obviously pretty excited to get some snow. But when we got to church an entire tree fell over because the fall leaves were still on the branches. And the only ha...

Now we did volunteer at a clinic to help set up.

On Monday we did all the basics of P-day such as laundry, shopping, cleaning, and playing games with the district. Wednesday I got a cool Halloween package and it also had some new glasses in it! We went on an exchange and I went to Livingston we just did contacting there.  On Saturday we went and helped set up and tear down a clinic open house. (I was trying to pretend I was in the hospital to scare my family.) And then we watched the helicopter take off.  Sunday we got a call literally seconds before sacrament meeting so we let it go to voice-mail and if they left one then they aren't a scammer call. He wasn't a scammer call, he was a less active member he called us looking for a ride to church. We called him back in between sacrament and Sunday school. Our Ward mission leader was willing to give him a ride so we went along. Long story short, we ended up finding out he was on something. So we got him a ride back to where we picked him up. So that was fun. Anyways hope ...

Now we did finally find a new person this week!

Hope y'all had a good week! Monday-  We did all the basic stuff; shopping, laundry, and playing games with the district.  Tuesday-  We had district council, weekly planning, and quite a bit of contacting.  Wednesday-  We did a ton of contacting.  Thursday-  We had a mission-wide meeting on Facebook finding in the morning. It was a little long and could have been an email but there was some good information. And we had lunch with our ward mission leader and of course... more contacting!  Friday-  We had interviews over zoom, and then more contacting.  Saturday-  We finally found a new person through our dinner appointment! It's the spouse of a member and he's really interested!  Sunday-  We went down to Big Sky, had church, had a linger longer, and did some contacting. Then we took some pictures to possibly replace our profile pictures. We had an awesome dinner and then went home. Well it was really a pretty average week bu...

It came pass that I've been laboring in the Lord's vineyard for 1 Year!

Hey guys!  Celebrate my 1-year mark with me by watching this video:

Now Behold we did travel to the land they call Helena for a conference of the zones. And now on the way back we did roll the windows down and I did swallow a bug.

Hey y'all this week took quite a while to get back to P-Day so here's what happened. Monday- We mainly got stuff done. Got the apartment clean. Got hair cuts and played some games with the district at the end of the day  Tuesday- We made some contacts, weekly planned. Some other elders slept over at the zone leaders apartment which is in the same complex as us so we went over and played a game with them. Wednesday- We went to Zone Conference in Helena which was from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm with an hour and half of travel tacked onto both ends. We also stopped to see the progress of the Helena Temple!! Can't wait for it to be done and to be able to take people through the open house!  When we got back to Bozeman the APs were traveling through at that point and asked if they could catch dinner with us. Plus our gas card was out of wack so they had a replacement one for us. Thursday- We met someone named Rodney and had an awesome conversation with him about the Book of Mormon. W...
