Now we did suffer through the affliction which many do call quarantine. Yea even staying in our home for 5 days straight.

Hey y'all! Sadly, Elder Davis got COVID the day after I did so we were miserable together. We were stuck in quarantine until Friday morning this week. Some good things though, were that we were able to call all the people in our area book. We also did a lot of Facebook finding and we cleaned  out our apartment. We also did a few lessons over the phone. Then on Friday our quarantine time was up and we were feeling a lot better so we got out and we attempted to visit a few people. On Saturday we had district council.  Sorry that there isn't more to report on this week.  Love, Elder Krebs

Now I did contract the plague that did roll over the land. Yea even unto the point of quarantine.

So..... I tested positive for Covid yesterday and am now in quarantine until Thursday.  On Monday we were driving on a stretch of road that wasn't plowed and we got stuck in the snow for an hour and a half. Thank goodness for daylight savings giving us an extra hour of light so at least we weren't stuck at night. On Wednesday we had interviews with our mission president because on Thursday there was a zone conference. When we have a zone conference we usually have an interview with the president because that's when he's in town. On Friday we learned that a member of our district had contracted Covid. So we got tested and our tests came back negative.  Then on Saturday I woke up with a stuffy nose but I assumed it was just due to the temperature outside. So we did some visits and got some amazing enchiladas with smoked chicken on the inside. Then we were asked to be the substitute missionaries at a baptism for the missionaries who had contracted Covid. Then on Su...

Now it did snow exceedingly in the land of Helena. Yea even to the point that we didn't see a median while turning left in our chariot without a horse.

So.... hi there!  This week has been pretty fun. On Monday we mainly just hung around. We went bowling for a bit though.  On Tuesday through Friday we got a lot of snow. So much that when we were turning left out of a parking lot, we didn't see that there was a median in the middle of the road.  Whoops! We  hit it pretty hard but thankfully there wasn't any damage to our car.  We did some service on Saturday for a new person we are teaching now! She lives on a large piece of property so we shoveled walkways and her driveway. We stopped by a member's house and these members have some nice recliner chairs. They will be lending them to the new Helena temple during the dedication coming up in May. They will go to an area that will be kind of like a lounge for dignitaries visiting from out of the area. One of the dignitaries will be Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the twelve! The member gave me permission to sit in both chairs for a few seconds. So now I can say...

Now I did travel down to the land of the capital of Montana, yea even the land which many do call Helena.

Hey there! So as you can tell by the title I am now in Helena! I'm over just one ward here and my apartment is sweet! (We even have a washer and dryer!)  On Monday I packed and also decided to send a HUGE package home with a bunch of my stuff that I think I won't need for the rest of my mission. I wanted to cut down on some of the items I have been transfering with. On Tuesday we all went and got Krispy Kreme as a district and I also finished my packing that I started on Monday.  On Wednesday I boarded the transfer bus at 2 pm and drove the 2 ½ hours to Helena.  I met my new companion who seems really cool. His name is Elder Davis. He's from California. (Sorry, no pictures of him in this email. On Thursday, Friday, & Saturday I got acquainted with the area and got to know all the people currently in our teaching pool. I'm really excited for all of the people I've met so far. On Sunday I realized I made a mistake in sending all my winter clothes home because ther...

Now the weather did change all the time, yea it did even seem like God did put the weather app on shuffle

Let me ask you a question, why in the cinnamon toast crunch is the weather doing weird? (Forgive the strong language, my mission president doesn't allow us to say heck or fetch.) It has jumped from being a balmy and nice 45°, down to -4°. The snow goes from melting to dumping on us, to flash freezing to drifting! Basically, The weather is crazy up here! Anyways, we had an exchange with the Clinton and Drummond elders this week. On the exchange, nothing big happend. We "exchanged" after District Council and we went to five guys afterwards and man that stuff is greasy. But we didn't do anything too out of the ordinary. Skipping forward to Saturday we had the adult session of stake conference and then another session on Sunday morning.  President Wall came up for the conference and then we got transfer news. I'm going to Helena, MT in the 3rd ward!! I am really looking forward to it. My new address is updated on the main page of my blog. Anyways I hope y'all have...
