Now I did contract the plague that did roll over the land. Yea even unto the point of quarantine.

So..... I tested positive for Covid yesterday and am now in quarantine until Thursday. 

On Monday we were driving on a stretch of road that wasn't plowed and we got stuck in the snow for an hour and a half. Thank goodness for daylight savings giving us an extra hour of light so at least we weren't stuck at night.

On Wednesday we had interviews with our mission president because on Thursday there was a zone conference. When we have a zone conference we usually have an interview with the president because that's when he's in town.

On Friday we learned that a member of our district had contracted Covid. So we got tested and our tests came back negative. 

Then on Saturday I woke up with a stuffy nose but I assumed it was just due to the temperature outside. So we did some visits and got some amazing enchiladas with smoked chicken on the inside. Then we were asked to be the substitute missionaries at a baptism for the missionaries who had contracted Covid. Then on Sunday morning my throat felt really scratchy so I tested again and it came back positive. 
We then called the mission home and were put into quarantine for the next five days. 

But because we were kind of just hanging out at our apartment, we were called and asked to turn off the water in a missionary apartment that was leaking. It was dripping from the ceiling onto the carpet below. (Last transfer, it was a missionary apartment and it will be used as one next transfer but no one is in there right now.) So because we were the only missionaries that were close and we weren't doing anything else, we had a 2 hour adventure with the water! (Come to find out it was coming from the apartment above!!) But we got everything all worked out. 

Then we returned to our apartment and we can no longer leave until Thursday. Welp, hope y'all had a good week!

  Hi guys!  My week has been pretty fun and like last week it involved a lot of service. So here are some stories.  During fast & testimony meeting there was a primary kid who began to bear his testimony on every person in the ward...... individually. The whole congregation got a chuckle out of it when he said about his sister "I even love Rachel!"  Secondly on Tuesday we had district council along with some yummy, yummy pancakes! After that we were doing some Facebook finding in the stake center's family history center with the Zone Leaders. That's when the ZL's got a call from the AP's that we needed to submit some baptismal forms because as it turns out the companionship right before Elder Hansen came in had baptized someone but then both left like a week later and forgot to fill out the forms.  We went to an amazing burger place called Parker's they have 135 different burgers! Home MTC Here We Come!

Elder Zach Krebs spoke in Sacrament meeting last Sunday, gets set apart as a full-time missionary tomorrow, and starts the Home MTC on Monday! We're so excited for him and this amazing adventure he's about to start! Here's an excerpt from his sacrament talk on Sunday, September 19th: "We should be sharing the gospel in normal and natural ways. The Journey Begins (Sep 27 - Sep 30, 2021)

Hello Friends!                                                                                                     My first week was kind of an adventure!  Monday : On Monday I had my first day. That was really fun and went by really fast. I was able to bond with my district (who are awesome) and had a lot of fun. That day I had a lot of classes and had a lot of orientation. I also met my companion he is absolutely awesome! Tuesday : On Tuesday I had a lot more time to process it all. Class was awesome.
