Now we did hear of a tale from a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor

Hey everybody! This has been quite a fun week so we will dive on into it.

Monday- It was P-Day and we mainly just chilled. We didn't really do anything that out of the ordinary.

Tuesday-We had a member lesson with a man named Gregory.  Before we shared a message though he told us about how he survived Pearl Harbor. He was working in the boiler room of one of the ships that were spared and when he came out for the end of his shift that was when he found out that the harbor had been bombed. It was amazing to hear from a first hand survivor!

Wednesday- We did some service for the woman that we did a lot of service for last week and nearly finished up the task at hand. We also had District Council. We went up to Chouteau and tried to do some contacting.

Thursday- We did more service and finished up the project for the lady we did the day before. In total we filled 29 bags full of leaves, sticks, pine cones, and pine needles! We went up to Chouteau again and we did quite a bit of contacting and had a lesson with the woman who is getting ready for baptism. She's a really nice older lady that is super excited about the gospel. She's planning to get baptized with her grandson who's turning 8!

Friday & Saturday- These were the town days for Conrad so we did a lot of street contacting. Their town days are called "Whoopie Days". You can interpret that whatever use of the word you want because it was unclear what kind of whoopie we were celebrating. 😉

Sunday- We had a few lessons. It was mainly just bouncing around between meetings though. We did see the glorious sight of a bus truck.

Well it has been quite a week. Hope y'all have a good one!
Love,
Elder Krebs

(PS- don't worry, I'm getting a haircut this week!)
