And we did get stuck in a snow bank for the space of 2 hours and a 30 minutes in a place where my tablet of many wonders could not connect to other tablets

......Well you will have to wait till the end to hear the story behind the title. This is going to be a short one because the last letter sent was on Wednesday.

Elder Hendrix and I, taking pictures on a cool bridge!

Thursday- We had District Council. We then did some Facebook finding. After that we did street contacting because it's warm enough that we won't get too cold. Then we went to dinner with a member. He is pretty awesome. He served in Vietnam so we got to hear some pretty cool war stories. Even though he wasn't given the opportunity to serve a mission he helped teach his fellow soldiers.
Friday- Friday kind of got thrown off with our plans. We went to chop wood for an older guy in the area and after we got it chopped (it was pretty darn frozen) he offered us hot chocolate inside. Of course, who am I to turn that away? Anyway we started talking and we ended up having the Plan of Salvation lesson with him. You could definitely tell he was feeling the spirit really strongly during it.

Saturday- We went up to the stake center and planned to do some Facebook finding but ended up running into other missionaries who were doing a lesson with a guy that Elder Hansen and I referred to them and they invited us in on the lesson. Later that day we went to the adult session of stake conference.

Sunday- We went to the regular session of stake conference and then left pretty fast to get changed from our suits into other church clothes to get lunch and go up to some people we are teaching waaay up into the mountains who finally got their roads plowed out. What ended up happening was that 10 miles from cell service we got stuck into a snowbank and we had to shovel ourselves out for 2 and a half hours. By the time we were shoveled out, the sun was setting and we didn't want to get stuck again. So we went down to cell service and set up some member lessons in Drummond since that was closer. We came home at 8:30 and had dinner, played Lucky Unders (a card game) and went to bed.
This is where we were stuck in the snow!
Well that week was a bit crazy. On a more solemn note: with Ukraine being invaded I would like to encourage everyone to keep them in your prayers. And regardless of your political opinion I would like to encourage everyone to pray that the world leaders can receive revelation on how to best handle this situation.
I love you all and hope you stay safe.
Love,
Elder Krebs
