Now we did travel up to the land of Seely Lake where we did help the leaders of the Zone open the area
The title may seem a little misleading. I did not get transferred luckily. I will explain what happened when we get to it.
Monday- For P-Day we had a Mac and Cheese making competition with the other members of our district. Elder Hansen and I won with a recipe that Elder Hansen had. It was a recipe with a ton of cheese and bacon!!
Tuesday- We did some service and had dinner with a member.
Wednesday- We had district council and we had a housing inspection. Don't worry, we passed, so it went well.
Thursday- We did service and we set up our day in Drummond for Saturday. Basically that means we were calling members and getting lessons on the calendar. We then had dinner with a member. The member took this picture and texted it to my mom (along with a really nice text about how grateful they are for our service!) :)
Friday- The moment you've waited for since reading the title has arrived. The story is that my companion found someone in an area in our zone that is technically closed. We had to ask the mission president if we could go up there to teach him. So our mission President opened it up for the Zone Leaders. But the guy that Elder Hansen found invited us to go fishing. I don't have a fishing license but one of the Zone Leaders did so we went on a 3 hour long exchange and while they were fishing, me and a zone leader did member lessons. Afterward we went down to our area again and made it just in time to attend the play of one our members. The picture below is us at the play!
Saturday-
We went up to Drummond and we had a few member lessons. A lot of members encouraged us to ask our mission president about sleeping at members houses so we could spend more time up in Drummond. It's a long shot but the area is really spread out, so we will see how that goes.
Sunday- we had 2 people we are teaching at church! It was awesome! We had an awesome fireside with the youth!
Overall the week was awesome!
Love,
Elder Krebs
I looked at Drummond on google maps and it looks like a small town in a beautiful area!
