And now I was commanded to continue my labors in Clinton for another transfer

OK like the title says, I'm staying another transfer! But, my comp is leaving the area unfortunately. I am getting another comp this Wednesday that I haven't met before. I'll miss Elder Hansen, but I'm excited to meet my new companion.

Monday- A member of the mission presidency invited 2 districts in the zone over for breakfast. We had a lot of fun. We played card games and the like for the rest of the day.
Tuesday- It was pretty fun. We helped set up more of the fence from last week. And we had dinner with a member.
Wednesday- We had district council, did some service and had a lesson. And we had dinner with some awesome members!
Thursday- We had 3 lessons Thursday! And we did a lot of service in the morning. Nothing else really happened.
Friday- As usual, we did "Crumble" Friday! We then did a lot of setting up our calendar with service and appointments and we did a training call. Then we did some more service.
Saturday- We had an awesome lesson in the morning when we thought it was going to be a service thing. A person we are teaching asked us to help them out but she started a discussion that allowed us to clear a lot of concerns. We did quite a bit of finding for the rest of the day.
Sunday- We had church. I love the Ward and Branch we are in!! The members are amazing to each other, to us and especially to the new people we bring to church!! We also were able to get transfer news! Stuff got delayed so we ended up getting it at 10:30pm! But we know where everyone is going so that's good.
Wow it's been a week! I love y'all! Hope you are doing good.
Love,
Elder Krebs
( I was horrible at taking pictures this week so sorry no pictures)

"Now Behold it came to pass that the heat did go out for the space of 5 days"

Hi guys!  My week has been pretty fun and like last week it involved a lot of service. So here are some stories.  During fast & testimony meeting there was a primary kid who began to bear his testimony on every person in the ward...... individually. The whole congregation got a chuckle out of it when he said about his sister "I even love Rachel!"  Secondly on Tuesday we had district council along with some yummy, yummy pancakes! After that we were doing some Facebook finding in the stake center's family history center with the Zone Leaders. That's when the ZL's got a call from the AP's that we needed to submit some baptismal forms because as it turns out the companionship right before Elder Hansen came in had baptized someone but then both left like a week later and forgot to fill out the forms.  We went to an amazing burger place called Parker's they have 135 different burgers! If you are ever in Missoula it's well worth it.  We then went to a y...

Home MTC Here We Come!

Image
Elder Zach Krebs spoke in Sacrament meeting last Sunday, gets set apart as a full-time missionary tomorrow, and starts the Home MTC on Monday! We're so excited for him and this amazing adventure he's about to start! Here's an excerpt from his sacrament talk on Sunday, September 19th: "We should be sharing the gospel in normal and natural ways. If we have a ward service project ask if they want to come participate. Although the news may not be showing all the good in the world, most people like to help. Or if they are the ones in need of service we have amazing people in the ward who love to help as well. And if you are feeling nervous remember these words from Alma 32:23: “And now, he imparteth his word by angels unto men, yea, not only men but women also. Now this is not all; little children do have words given unto them many times, which confound the wise and the learned.” We can be angels as well. We can all follow God’s will for who he will have us deliver his mess...

And behold I did labor with my hands that I might be able serve the people of the area more fully.

Hey guys it has been pretty crazy!       On Tuesday my companion and I split wood and then of course the people we were splitting wood for brought up politics something missionaries aren't supposed to talk about. We deflected it pretty good though.       On Wednesday we went up to a part of our area we can't go up to very often because of miles. We had lunch, shared a few lessons, we then went to their branch Halloween party. We were made judges in the chili cook off so my morning the next day was fun. Also, we had the trunk or treat there and a member came up to us as we were waiting for the trunk or treat to be over and handed us bags and told us to go trick or treating.     On Friday we went and helped some people move and that was pretty fun.      So back on Wednesday we had someone offer us tickets to the MSU game and we took one of the people we are teaching to count it as missionary work! The cool thi...
