And we did journey far from our abode yea even 2 hrs away, but I say unto you this is still in our area so let not your hearts be troubled

Dang this has been a pretty crazy week!

Let me break it down
Tuesday was a lot of chopping and stacking wood but that evening we went to the youth activity which was playing volleyball. A light was taken out by the volleyball. (Their gym and chapel are the same area we just have an accordion door like 2 feet in front of the pulpit and all the chairs are movable) Anyway a light was taken out soooo we spent a few minutes cleaning that up.
On Wednesday we had a mission wide area book training with my Dad! That was pretty fun! We had district council and went on exchanges. My companion is the DL so you will read about a lot of exchanges this transfer.

On Thursday we went to go do service. First, we mucked out a goat pen. Then we stopped and had lunch. Then moved some furniture for an older lady.
On Friday we had a Facebook finding training in which Elder Hansen and I together ate the entire bag of Funions that my family sent in a package. Friday was mainly a day of useless meetings for me. Then we had dinner with a member of our ward.

On Saturday we traveled to the edge if our area to perform service for and teach some people. It started snowing and by the time we got home it was like a good 2 inches! So because we can't ride snowmobiles to that part of our area, we are stuck with zoom lessons with them from now on.
On Sunday we had quite a few lessons. Someone we were trying to get to church for a long time finally came! First they caught a cold, then right when they got over that they had to be quarantined because they had come in contact with had covid (they were safe, don't worry) then they went out of state for Thanksgiving. So it was so cool to finally get to see them at church. We also watched the Christmas devotional last night. And a member made snow for us!

That brings me to today! My week has been pretty dang fun.
Here is a quote that I really liked this week “Just as we should not lower the standards that the Lord has established for the conduct of His servants, we are also not authorized to raise them. … Be sure that you do not have higher standards for yourself or others than the Lord has established” -Elder Cecil O. Samuelson in an MTC devotional.
Love,
Elder Krebs
